	La Maison du Chapelier. Chambres d'hotes in Esperaza. 40km south of Carcassonne and 90km from Andorra in the heart of Cathar Country in the Aude. Built in 1923 by a rich industrialist, the house has unusual features, many of which can be seen in the book "The Patrimony of the Aude". Surrounded by hills and close to the Corbieres with many lovely walks to be found on the doorstep. Tthe ideal place to relax and enjoy a holiday in the French countryside. Enjoy breakfast in the baronial dining room which seats 20 or in the shady garden.
